More Than a Figure Store

Hobbyteka is a small studio in Germany where digital sculptures become physical collectibles.

We work with independent 3D artists and studios, print and prepare every figure ourselves, and offer professional hand painting for collectors who want a finished display piece.

Because our figures are produced in small quantities rather than mass-produced, we can give each model individual attention — from the first print to the final inspection before shipping.

From Print to Paint

  • 1 — Digital Model

Every project starts with a detailed 3D model — either from one of the independent artists and studios we work with or created specifically for a custom commission.

  • 2 — Resin Printing

We print each figure in high-resolution resin and choose the material and settings according to the size, detail and structure of the model.

  • 3 — Preparation

Printed parts are cleaned, cured, inspected and test-fitted. Supports, seams and small imperfections are handled before the figure moves on.

  • 4 — Hand Painting

Painted commissions are finished individually by hand using airbrush and brush techniques, with each model treated as its own project.

A Few Words About Us

Hobbyteka is a small team in Germany brought together by a shared love for 3D printing, miniature painting and collectible figures.

What started as a hobby grew into a studio where we can combine different skills — printing, painting and digital sculpting — and create the kind of figures we would be happy to have in our own collections.
We are still a small studio, and that allows us to stay close to the work, close to every project and close to the people we create for.

What Matters to Us

  • Quality Over Volume

We would rather make fewer figures properly than rush more of them out the door. Every project gets the time and attention it actually needs.

  • Honest Communication

If we see a technical problem, fragile detail or limitation in a model, we say it directly. Clear expectations are better than unpleasant surprises.

  • Individual Attention

Every figure is different. Materials, printing strategy, preparation and painting are adjusted to the specific project rather than treated as a fixed production line.

Custom Projects, Built Around Your Idea

Not every character already exists as a printable figure. That is why we also create completely custom projects from references, artwork and original ideas.

A custom commission can cover the entire process — from 3D sculpting and print preparation to resin printing and hand painting.

During sculpting, the project is reviewed in stages, allowing the pose, proportions and overall design to be refined before the final detailing is completed.

The result is a figure created specifically around your concept rather than adapted from an existing product.

Our Studio in Germany

Every Hobbyteka figure is produced in our own studio in Germany. Resin printing, cleaning, curing, preparation, inspection and packing are all handled by us.

We use high-resolution resin printing and select materials according to the individual model, because delicate weapons, transparent parts and large structural elements do not always require the same approach.

Working directly with the physical models allows us to identify fragile areas, adjust the production process when necessary and inspect every piece before it leaves the studio.
